Chaos! Let your imagination run riot!
WEEK NINETEEN of the weekly photography challenge is “Chaos”. The advice this week, is to ‘let your imagination run riot’ in response to the challenge, and interpret the theme of Chaos as you see fit.
“For the Holderness Gazette article this week, I used a fantasy dragon creature rising out of a fiery swirl to depict ‘Chaos’, but I’ve since changed my mind about that. I think the pattern and symmetry in that image do not depict the randomness and disorder that perhaps we should associate with chaos. So instead to prompt this week’s challenge online, I’ve used the ‘rotten door’ image from last week’s club meeting with added random zoomy and blurry effects.
“Of course, either image works, because it is in your imagination as a photographer that your chaotic image can be found!”

The challenge is open from today until next Thursday. Entries each week will be published on the Hedon Viewfinders website, and the best will appear in the Holderness Gazette.
Week 18 Review: The Night Sky challenge did not result in many submissions, but the ones that arrived were all good. It was difficult to draw a line between the entries, but for the sheer drama and mood of their sky image, and with its peeking central moon, the favourite this week is Mandy Broadbent’s photo. 
Nigel Robson’s fuller moon in a similar sky was equally dramatic, and also well done to Janet Bucknall for capturing a beautiful Flower Moon. See all The Night Sky entries.
