Sequence Photography
Meeting 19 April 2023 Sequence Photography.
Sequence Photography – Telling a Story! Another first for Hedon Viewfinders Photography Club!
Working in pairs again, what we are going to do is to take a sequence of photos to show the model’s story. You can shoot both closely to the model to capture small details, or from a distance for a bigger frame. You should pay attention to textures, colors and patterns. The idea behind this is to help you achieve creative portraits.
We’ll need props bringing along e.g. mirrors, hats, newspapers, bags, maybe writing pads pens etc, i.e. items that will help you build your story.
At the end you should have at least 6 images that flow in comic book style to post online. There are many scenarios you can imagine and produce – think about this in advance of the meeting.
This will follow on from our series of meetings designed to get you using your camera settings such as ISO, aperture and shutter speed, and considering focal length and depth of field. The aim is to get members to delve further into the capabilities of their cameras and mobile phones.
Meet 7pm Wednesday 19 April at Haven Arms, Havenside, HU12 8HH.
