CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY 52, is the new challenge in association with the Holderness Gazette that aims to inspire you with ideas of things to capture with your camera or phone.
The new challenge for Week 4 open from today until next Thursday is CONTRASTING COLOURS. Can you come up with an imaginative or unusual photo taken to meet the subject?

Week 5 (launches Thursday February 2) is Spectacles, Week 6 is Musical Instruments and Week 7 is Make up.

Ivy is the favourite this week by Janet Bucknall. It benefits from wonderful light, something that photographers should seek out or create. I also enjoyed the Holly Bulb by Lynn Leedham. The experiments with zoom effects by Dave Hook and reflections by Jim Uney were also appealing.

MEETING WEDNESDAY 1st FEBRUARY – SPECTACLES
The meeting on Wednesday will preview the Creative Photography 52 theme for Week 4 SPECTACLES (as in a pair of glasses) and consider product photography. The meet-up at the Haven Arms at 7pm will also take into consideration the entries needed for the club’s Digitally Different exhibition that starts in March at Hedon Museum.
