For Wednesday 16 September 2020 (our first GROUP OF SIX workshop with only six people booked in advance and taking part), the workshop challenge night is on the theme of REFLECTIONS. The twig drops photography is something the Club did last year, but for Wednesday, we hope to try some new ideas incorporating mirrors/reflective surfaces; things that we’ve not done before.
We need six people to register interest for Wednesday’s reflections challenge group workshop (complete online form below). If there’s more than six interested we can simply repeat the workshop at a later date and on a different night to a Wednesday if participants wish.
And as mentioned previously, we are open to any ideas from members about the theme, genre, etc. for club nights/activities/workshops whilst working in a socially-distanced way under the rule of 6. Contact us with your ideas.
It is also proposed setting up a Home and Tabletop Challenge Group from Wednesday’s meeting. This same group of six people, or another group of six formed from the membership, will seek to arrange and tackle photography projects of an interesting, experimental or learning nature – perhaps acquiring skills or trying out ideas you’ve seen demonstrated in the magazines or online. It will aim to encourage members to learn and try new things to improve their photography.
This new challenge group could set challenge competitions for the wider membership to take part in online on our Facebook and Flickr groups!?
Want to register for the REFLECTIONS workshop on Wed 16 September? It’s free and aimed to be a learning or just fun photography experience. Complete the online form:
