SADLY our scheduled speaker, IAN DAY FRPS (a working Editor on a newspaper) is unable to give his presentation at our meeting tomorrow night (Wed 4 Sept 2019).
So instead, at short notice, we are holding a Props Night and ask for your support in making it a success!
‘Props Night – a chance to experiment’.
Bring in your interesting objects (ornaments, toys, instruments, flowers, etc) and interesting kit and create and share some photographic opportunities.
If you need to get in early to set your prop up and claim table space, we’ll be open from 6:30pm.
Some of the photo opportunities we could set up are: – water/liquid drops or splash photography, mixing of oil and water effects, high speed flash, macro, polariser effects, rainy windows, light painting, etc – bring in your lensballs, gobos, filters and other optical props?
This is very much a chance to experiment and almost ‘anything goes’ really – and if there is something you would really like to try, but don’t know where to start – then do get in touch and we’ll see what we can arrange!
